Nigerian national shot dead
A Nigerian national was shot dead along the highway in Barangay Mancup, Calasiao on Saturday morning, October 15.
Victim Christopher Clark, 32, is presently residing in Barangay Malabago, of said town, when he received a call, prompting him to walk towards Barangay Mancup.
There, he was waylaid and shot several times, causing his death.
Authorities recovered seven spent shells from a caliber 45 pistol, and one from a caliber 9mm handgun.
Police Major Ria Tacderan, information officer of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPO), said victim was earlier involved in a murder case.
“Lumalabas sa initial na investigation na mukhang paghihiganti ang motive sa pagpatay sa kaniya”, said Tacderan.
Clark’s live-in partner, whose name has been withheld for her protection, was able to identify the gunman, through CCTV footages recovered by the authorities.
The police now have a person of interest under their custody. (Ahikam Pasion)
