A MEMORANDUM of Agreement (MOA) was signed on Wednesday between the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office represented by P/Colonel Jeff Fanged and  the Region 1 Medical Center represented by Dr. Roland Mejia, chief of R1MC.

The MOA stipulates that R1MC will reserve private rooms for active members of the PNP in Pangasinan who will be confined for any health issue and those confined will not pay a single centavo through the application of Zero Balance Billing policy. The immediate members of the PNP from Pangasinan, will  also enjoy the same medical privilege to be given by R1MC.

Police personnel and their families need only to present PNP ID, Letter of Authorization from the PNP, Health Form and PhilHealth ID to R1MC.

R1MC will also assign a medical specialist at the Camp Antonio’s Sison to provide regular  medical checkup and assign two of its ambulances at the PNP provincial headquarters to respond to accidents involving police personnel. (Ella Garcia/IFM Dagupan)
