11 Pangasinenses among 433 winners of P236-M Lotto draw
THERE were 11 bettors in Pangasinan whose number combinations were declared winners in the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw last October 1.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) confirmed that the 11 winners will share the P236,091,188.40 with 422 other winners or P545,245.23 before taxes.
According to the PCSO, this is the first time in the lottery of the entire world where 433 bettors won.
The winning combination 09-45-36-27-18-54 showed up during the draw.
While the PCSO refuses to disclose the specific town or municipality of the winners, the
PUNCH managed to locate and interview one winner in the province. (His name and location are being withheld for security reasons).
The winner said the numbers of the winning combination were from his wife’s dream.
“Matagal na naming inaalagaan yung combination na iyon”, he said. “Naswertehan talaga namin”, he added.
However, he expressed disappointment, as his reduced share of the loot prize will be reduced further to P 436,196.184 because of the tax prescriptions under the TRAIN law.
“Malaki yung mababawas, pero pera pa rin yan kahit papaano”, the winner said. (Ahikam Pasion)
