New Urdaneta City Police Station inaugurated

A NEW Urdaneta Police Station was inaugurated recently in Barangay Anonas, attended by DILG Undersecretary Lord Villanueva, PNP Chief Rodolfo Azurn Jr., Police Regional Director Brig. General Belli Tamayo and Urdaneta City Mayor Julio Parayno III.

Urdaneta City Police has been consistently named the Best Component City Police Station in Luzon.

PNP Chief Azurin thanked the Urdaneta city government for its continuous support to the national police and ordered the officers and men of the Urdaneta Police to reciprocate by doubling efforts to protect the residents in their homes, places of work and in the streets.

Meanwhile, Mayor Parayno said it has been his long dream to put up a government center to speed up the transaction between the people and their government. At the premises of the new police station are the offices of the  Bureau of Internal Revenue and Bureau of Fire Protection.

Other offices expected to the move to the area soon are the Commission on Audit, Technical Education Skills and Development Authority and Land Transportation Office. (104.7 IFM Dagupan)
