18-year-old teen charged with rape, arrested
THE most wanted criminal in Binalonan, an 18-year-old boy who’s accused of the crime of rape was finally arrested by the police in the town.
The suspect, Alexander Valdez, alias “Alex”, of Barangay Sili in Binalonan is temporarily detained at the Binalonan Police jail.
In an interview by IFM Radio, the Binalonan Police said Valdez was arrested after a warrant of arrest issued by the court on September 15, was served at their residence by joint police team led by the Binalonan Police Station, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and Regional Intelligence Unit of Police Regional Office 1.
Valdez is detained at the police station because the crime of rape is not a bailable offense.
The suspect allegedly raped his victim, a 14-year-old girlfriend on February 15, 2022 at his family’s residence. (104.7 IFM Dagupan)
