Daang Katutubo, Kalikasan nearing completion
CONSTRUCTION of the Daang Katututubo in Aguilar and the Daang Kalikasan in Mangatarem is already 80 percent complete.
This was bared by Willer Bince, project engineer of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 1, who said the 24.22-kilometer Daang Katutubo will lead to the 14.6 kilometer Daang Kalikasan that will soon be finally connected to Zambales province.
Bince said both the DPWH and Department of Tourism allocated P30 million last year, which was boosted by another P70 million this year, for the completion of the two projects.
Meanwhile, the two roads remained close so that their final stage of construction will not be hampered anymore. (104.7 IFM-Dagupan)
