Rivera said while the city has reported 100% of targetted individuals in the city and 13% more from other towns received their first dose while 97% got their second dose. However, number of individuals who received booster shots are still low.
She said the CHO plans to jab 37,000 individuals in the city, or 650 individuals per day, to reach the 50 percent target population jabbed with booster doses.
Meanwhile, vaccination drive at the Dagupan City People’s Astrodome is ongoing, and individuals may get their vaccination certificates at the City Health Office.
Rivera assured there is ample supply of COVID-19 vaccines for the city’s eligible population, despite reports that some vaccines that expired earlier.
