A polluting poultry farm in Barangay Aramal, San Fabian town was given an ultimatum of seven days by the local government to clean its premises, or face closure permanently if it fails to comply.

Mayor Marlyn Agbayani issued the ultimatum following the complaints of residents of Barangays Aramal, Palapad, Lipit Tomeeng, Tocok, Bilasi and Binday, denouncing the poultry farm to have spawned swarms of flies that adversely affected their health.

Acting on this complaint, personnel of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) conducted an inspection to verify the complaints. (104.7 IFM-Dagupan)
