THE Regional Anti- Cyber Crime Unit (RACU) of the Police in Region 1 have been receiving numerous complaints about fake food deliveries made by unscrupulous persons.

RACU 1’s P/Sr. MSgt. Archimedes Fernandez told IFM Dagupan that most of the victims of fake food deliveries were professionals and politicians since they are known to have the capacity to pay for the food delivered to them.

Most of the time, it was the poor Grab riders that ended up paying for the food ordered by fake callers.

Fernandez said his unit is now investigating this caper in a bid to identify and arrest the pranksters and stop their illegal activities. (104.7 IFM-Dagupan)
