Pangasinan State U set to conduct F2F classes
THE nine campuses of the Pangasinan State University are set to hold face-to-face classes when the 2022 school year starts on September.
This was announced by Dr. Dexter Buted, PSU president, in a press conference Monday, July 25, as he clarified that the university will prioritize the conduct of F2F classes of students with practical evaluations and laboratory subjects.
He said lecture subjects, however, can remain in a blended learning modality to prevent overcrowding in the campuses.
Consultation with the students and faculty members were also being discussed to further ease academic difficulties in the following school year.
As of Monday, July25, PSU is projecting the enrolment of 22,000 first year students, lower than the 31,800 students last academic year.
Buted said PSU is focusing in deepening its partnership with the Pangasinan provincial government through its community extension programs, research, scholarships, and gender and development programs. (Ahikam Pasion)
