Voter registration resumes July 4

THE Commission on Elections (COMELEC) will resume voter registration starting July 4 to 23, 2022, for the Barangay Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

COMELEC Resolution No. 10798 will include transactions for updates, transfers, changes, or corrections of voters’ details in the COMELEC database, reactivation or reinstatement, and inclusion of registration records; updating the records of Senior citizens, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), members of Indigenous Peoples or Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICC), and other members of vulnerable sectors.

Registrant voter must at least be 18 years old on or before the December 5 while voter for SK elections must at least be 15 years old but not more than 30, and have resided in their barangay for at least six months on or before December 5.

Registrants must bring one ID with photo: PhilSys national ID, Employee ID, Postal ID, PWD Discount ID, Student ID, Senior Citizen’s ID, Driver’s license, NBI Clearance, Passport, SSS/GSIS ID, Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID, PRC License, Barangay ID.

Applications must be personally filed at the Office of the Election Officer (OEO) of each town, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Mondays to Saturdays, including holidays. (Vjnhyl Pondivida)
