Rider chased by dog, hit and killed by car
HEADS up, riders!
A 59-year-old man riding a motorcycle who was being chased by a dog, died after he was hit by a car in Balungao town on Friday, June 24.
Victim Eduardo Martinez, a resident of Barangay San Leon in Balungao town, was being chased by a stray dog, shifted direction, while speeding away.
But in doing so, he was hit by an oncoming vehicle driven by Leo Solomon Andres, 39, an active member of the Philippine Army, a resident of Barangay Tanulong in Bayambang town.
Martinez sustained a severe head injury, that resulted in his death.
Meanwhile, the victim’s family and Andres agreed to an amicable settlement. (Ahikam Pasion)
