A 21-year-old male in San Jacinto town, drowned in a fishpond in Barangay Lobong on Saturday, June 25.

Marieta Cuison, 60, fishpond caretaker and a resident of the same area, appeared at the local police station in order to report the drowning of her son, Brandon.

The police investigation said the victim was an epileptic, a health situation that Marieta believed caused her son to drown in the pond area. (Ahikam Pasion)
