A 25-year-old woman who claimed to be a licensed dentist was arrested in an entrapment operation conducted by the police in Barangay San Felipe Sur in Binalonan town on June 1.

The suspect, Jazzel Garcia, 25, a self-employed, was charged for illegal dentistry practice without any license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

She was reported to be making and selling orthodontic braces since February 2022 to date, ordered by her patients.

Confiscated from her were assorted orthodontic materials and the entrapment money amounting to P1,500.

The suspect will be charged for violation of Republic Act No, 9484. (Leonardo Micua)
