TWO construction workers were injured and sustained burns when they were electrocuted while installing an electric post in Barangay Poblacion West in Sta. Maria town on May 25.

Confined at Eastern Pangasinan District Hospital were victims Rene Cabangbang, 49, from Barangay Umanday West and Ramil Mostajo, 20, from Barangay Cabayaoasan, both from the town.

The two were installing a post of the new Bureau of Fire Protection building being constructed when a 16 mm steel bar being held upward by the victims touched the high-tension wire hanging in the area.

The victims are now recovering at the hospital. (Eva Visperas)
