PSU’s 2 board topnotchers get P100k each
THE management of the Pangasinan State University (PSU) gave P100,000 cash incentive to each of its two graduates after they were cited as among top ten board finishers on May 17.
The latest recipients of cash incentives for those who made it to the Top 10 of the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC)-sanctioned examinations were Thomas Jefferson Fernando of PSU-Asingan Campus, No. 3, in the January 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers; and Engr. Jason Mejia of PSU-Urdaneta City Campus who clinched the third spot in the May 2022 Licensure Examination for Civil Engineers.
PSU President Dr. Dexter Buted handed to the two latest board topnotchers the cash incentive at the university board room in Lingayen witnessed by the Institution’s vice-presidents: Dr. Elbert Galas, Dr. Manolito Manuel, Dr. Paulo Cenas, Dr. Corazon Puzon and Dr. Marcelo Gutierrez.
The recipients were accompanied by their parents, coaches and Campus Executive Directors Dr. Armando Junio (Asingan) and Dr. Honorio Cascolan (Urdaneta City).
The university’s policy of awarding of cash incentives aims to inspire students and faculty members of board programs to excel and prepare for their licensure examinations. (Eva Visperas)
