“TAYONG lahat ay dapat magkaisa.”

This was the call of Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas to people as he urged them to unite and respect the results of the election.

Villegas reminded that after the election, the people should not forget that they are still brothers and sisters that should all unite for other important things other than the election.

Likewise, Villegas reminded all candidates about the two stances of vote.

The voting period in Pangasinan started at 6 a.m. on Monday (May 9).

Villegas, who is one of the early voters, queued for two hours in his polling precinct at 0030B before he finally casted his vote at 8:54 a.m. at the West Central Elementary School 1 in Dagupan City. (PIA Pangasinan/EMSA)
