Easter reminder: Unconditional love must forgive
THE Bible is all about love. Taken into its entirety, the Good Book tells us that love is the ultimate thing in our earthly existence.
As the Good Lord said, “Love one another as I love you.” Stray from that and you will be lost. Forever.
Even those you hate, you must love. Even those that hate you, you must love. For love to be real, you must love more those that you don’t personally know than your acquaintances.
The hardest part of loving is, loving even your enemies.
What would profit a man that loves only those that love him?
To paraphrase the Good Lord, “The sun shines on both the bad and the good ones, the rain falls on the weeds and roses.”
Today’s immortal Easter message, therefore, is: love till it hurts—and lace it by being forgiving at all times.
Without forgiveness, there is no love. Forgiving is the very foundation of love; it is the horse that makes the carriage to roll on.
Happy Easter Punchers!
