CFE Regional Medical and Trauma Center in Rosales opens in July
THE construction of the Conrado F. Estrella Regional Medical and Trauma Center in Barangay Carmay East in Rosales town is expected to open in July.
Dr. Emerson Patawaran, officer-in-charge medical center chief, said the three-storey, 100-bed capacity air-conditioned hospital will have advanced radiology, X-Ray, MRI, dialysis, physical therapy sections, emergency room, laboratory, pharmacy, OB-Gyne, Operating room, delivery, room, surgical room, colonoscopy, ward, ICU, administrative sections, among others.
Patawaran said the center has been inspected by the Department of Health and it is now awaiting its license.
Opposite the trauma center will be a temporary 24-hour primary care facility while the three-storey building is being constructed.
The center will also admit patients needing confinement, he added.
Abono Partylist Rep. Conrado Estrella III authored Republic Act 11558 entitled An Act Establishing a General Hospital in the Municipality of Rosales to be known as the Conrado F. Estrella Regional Medical and Trauma Center and Appropriating Funds Therefor.
It will serve the medical needs of patients from Pangasinan, Tarlac and Nueva Ecija.
Conrado F. Estrella Sr. served as Pangasinan governor from 1954 to 1963 and Secretary and Minister of the Department of Agrarian Reform from 1971 to 1986. (Eva Visperas)
