Decorp’s January bill posts increased rate

By February 6, 2022Business

CUSTOMERS of the Dagupan Electric Corporation (Decorp) and other power distributors in Pangasinan will see a higher bill for their consumption in Janauary.

According to Atty. Randy Castilan, Decorp spokesperson, the increase in billing is due to P0.8209-centavo increase in generation charge representing higher cost of diesel.

For households consuming 100 KWH, the increase will amount to P82.09

Since the beginning of 2022, the fuel prices have been going up almost weekly.

Castilan said increase in billing will continue to trend corresponding to the costs of fuel and advised customers to consciously be sparing in their use of electricity in their homes. (Ahikam Pasion)
