TO prevent profiteering of noche buena products by stores and groceries this Holiday season, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) issued the suggested retail prices of the traditional items.

DTI-Pangasinan provincial director Natalia Dalaten said prices of some products namely, pasta, mayonnaise, fruit cocktail, ham, keso de bola, all-purpose cream, have increased by 5 to 12 percent.

Although there were some products that increased, Dalaten said there were also some products that maintained their prices because of sufficient inventory. (Jerick Pasiliao)
