Father and son electrocuted in Bani
A father and his son were electrocuted on Nov. 5 when the son touched a live wire in their palay farm in Barangay Dacap Sur, Bani town.
P/SSgt. Jose Sanicolas Jr, investigator-on-case, identified the victims as Joey Ortaleza, 56 and Mark Ortaleza, 21, both residents of Barangay Dacap.
Both were repairing their water electric pump at their farm when Mark accidentally touched a live wire that caused his electrocution. But when wis father tried to free him, he, too, was electrocuted by conduction, Sanicolas said.
They were both rushed to the Rural Health Unit here but were declared dead on arrival. (Eva Visperas)
