800 VMUF medical students get COVID-19 jab
SOME 800 medical students of Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation in San Carlos City were vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine last week.
City Information Officer Jhuliano Nazareno said among the students vaccinated are enrolled in medical courses, particularly clerical students who are to be deployed in hospitals.
Also included are those third and fourth year students who will be attending limited face-to-face classes.
He said the local government unit through the City Health Office worked out the vaccine allocation for the said students who are also considered to be under the A1 priority group of the vaccination program of the government. (Jerick Pasiliao)
