ALL returning residents and tourists visiting Manaoag town are still required to present a negative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test taken not more than 72 hours prior to their entry in the municipality.

This is the directive of the Executive Order No. 28 signed by Mayor Kim Mikael Amador on July 26, 2021.

Amador said that following the detection and existence of B.1.617 (Delta) variant in the Philippines, the local government unit is mandated to uphold the general welfare of its constituents. Manaoag, being a pilgrim center frequented by pilgrims and tourists from different provinces, particularly NCR bubble area, is most vulnerable.

Curfew hours are from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. during the community quarantine.

The executive order also directs that only tourists coming from areas with the same classification (MGCQ) as the province of Pangasinan will be allowed entry to Manaoag; and, all returning residents of Pangasinan, non-authorized persons outside residence (APOR), and tourists inbound to Manaoag are required to register with the S-PaSS Travel Management System at https://s-pass.ph.

Exempted for S-PaSS travel coordination permit are food delivery vehicles and their crew, repatriated OFWs and returning overseas Filipinos; government officials on official travel; health and emergency frontliners, uniformed personnel; and persons travelling for emergency reasons.
