Only 298K get 1st dose, 123K with 2nd dose
REGION LISTS 425K VACCINATED
THE Center for Health DevelopmentāRegion 1 confirmed that its data already listed 425, 231 persons in the region that were inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines.
Dr. Rheuel Bobis, CHD-1 spokesperson, said, however, only 123,816 or 29.82% of the number received their second dose.
As of July 18, 2021, the CHD said 298,415 have been administered their first COVID-19 vaccine dose.
Among the A1 priority list (frontline health workers) in the region, 87,006 have received their first inoculation, while 68,676 received their second dose; among the A2 group (senior citizens,) 133,304 received their first vaccine, while 41,349 persons finished their second dose.
Among the A3 group (persons with comorbidities), 59,862 have been inoculated for the first time, while 14,603 have been fully vaccinate; among the A4 group (workers) 3,909 persons got their first dose, while 257 completed their two doses
The CHD assured the steady supply of vaccines in the region and does not expect any suspension of a rollout at any time.
Bobis said more than 2,000 doses of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccines arrived on Wednesday, July 21 in addition to the 5,100 doses of AstraZeneca and 2,120 doses of Sinovac vaccines stored in the vaccine storage facilities. (Ahikam Pasion)
