Two mayors got their first jabs
SAN Quintin Mayor Clark Cecil Tiu became the first Pangasinan mayor who took his spot to be vaccinated on April 7 and its video was uploaded live.
“Bakunado na po ako. Yes na yes. Bakuna pa more. COVID no more,” read the caption of his photos showing him during his vaccination that were posted on the official Facebook page of the town and the mayor’s personal page.
Dagupan City Mayor Brian Lim also got his COVID vaccination on April 8. He is the second mayor to get the COVID-19 jab.
In an Advisory on April 5, 2021, the National Covid-19 Vaccination Operations Center allowed local chief executives in high risk and critical areas that included Pangasinan province and Dagupan City to get vaccinated. (Eva Visperas)
