HUNDREDS of leisure bikers, families and local tourists are beginning to stay at the Tondaligan Beach Baywalk for day visits and picnics on weekends.

This has been the observation of Tondaligan Beach Baywalk administrator Jhun Cadiz notwithstanding the no-swimming policy at the beach.

Cadiz said of 6-10 biker’s groups with some 10 bikers each have made the Tondaligan their weekly destination.

He said the nearly completed 1.2-kilometer bike lane has attracted bikers and local tourists from other towns to Tondaligan and he expects more to visit once the planned amenities, among them grilling stations and water sports activities are in place.

Another feature being planned is the area for “Plantitas and Plantitos”.

Tondaligan Beach Baywalk will extend up to Barangay Bonuan Binloc towards Barangay Bolasi in San Fabian town.

Meanwhile, marshals are in the area to ensure observance of the minimum health protocols by visitors. (Jerick Pasiliao)
