Dagupan police has new chief
THE Dagupan City Police Station (DCPS) has a new chief of police!
P/Lt. Col. Louise Benjie Tremor, who served in Ilocos Sur, succeeds P/Lt. Col. Luis Ventura Jr. as the city’s police chief.
At the turnover ceremony held at the Dagupan City Police Station last January 14, Dagupan City Mayor Brian Lim, after thanking Ventura’s service in the city, then ordered Tremor to increase police visibility and enforce the strict implementation of the standard health protocols against COVID-19.
Ventura, who was OIC since August 27, 2020, replacing then chief of police P/Lt. Col. Abubakar Mangelen Jr., has been reassigned as the commander of the Pangasinan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company in Tayug town.
Tremor looks forward to further developing PNP’s relationship with the city residents especially in the barangays. (Ahikam Pasion)
