Bayambang logs third fatality due to COVID-19
A 25-year-old man, a resident of Barangay Tanolong in Bayambang town died while in confinement at the Region 1 Medical Center in Dagupan City.
A post on the town’s official Facebook account reported that the fatality, initially underwent RT-PCR test on Nov. 26 and was found negative. The result of his second RT-PCR test on Nov. 30 and released on Dec. 2, again confirmed he was positive for the virus.
His high blood sugar and had sepsis secondary to community-acquired pneumonia were contributory to his death.
His identified close contacts are undergoing swab testing.
