Three balikbayans set to return to Italy tested positive
THREE balikbayans in Asingan, all residents of Barangay Domanpot, were set to return to Italy when they were prevented to leave because they all tested positive for COVD-19 on Wednesday, Sep. 23.
According to the Asingan government, the three men, one aged 69, while the two are 30 years old, arrived from Italy last March 11.
The protocol set for balikbayan returning to their point of origin is to submit to RT-PCR test, they took the test in Dagupan City and they tested positive.
All three individuals were asymptomatic and ordered to be quarantined. Meanwhile, all persons they had contacts with have been ordered to be quarantined and submit to RT-PCR test.
The compound where they are quarantined have been placed under granular lockdown. (Ahikam Pasion)
