THE Pangasinan Police Provincial Office was the recipient of another accolade, this time being cited as one of the Top Performing Police Provincial Office in Law Enforcement from among 79 police provincial offices in the country.

The latest recognition was preceded by being selected as best Police Provincial Office in Region 1.

The award from the National headquarters was received by P/Colonel Redrico Maranan, PPPO director, during the flag ceremony held at the Police Regional Office 1 presided by PRO1 Regional Director Rodolfo Azurin Jr.
Maranan was cited earlier as Best Provincial Director, and PPPO earned Special Award, Unit Award and Special Unit Award announced during the 119th Police Service Anniversary of the PNP.

PPPO was credited for its successful campaign against wanted persons, against HIV, illegal drugs, illegal gambling and loose firearms. (Nora Dominguez)
