15 policemen recover from COVID-19

FIFTEEN personnel of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) who contracted COVID-19 have fully recovered.

In a statement Monday, PPPO said 11 of the 15 patients were isolated in the isolation facility at the provincial command while the other four were quarantined in their respective town isolation facilities.

The 15 policemen were sent to their respective homes on Aug. 8 after completing their 14-day strict mandatory home quarantine.

The 15 tested positive on July 2 when close to 2,000 PPPO personnel were made to take the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test: 14 were asymptomatic and one experienced a flu-like symptoms.
