Espino commends Pangasinan PNP

GOVERNOR Amado I. Espino III commended the Pangasinan Provincial Police Office (PPPO) for being cited as the Best Provincial Police Office award and for other special awards presented by the Police Regional Office-1 (PRO-1).

The Pangasinan PPO was adjudged the Best Police Provincial Office “for its exemplary performance in upholding the PNP mission of enforcing the law, preventing crimes, maintaining peace and order, and ensuring public safety and internal security… for the period June 1, 2019 to March 30,2020…”

Pangasinan PNP also earned special awards: Special Unit Award in the Campaign Against Top Most Wanted Person; Special Unit Award in the Campaign Against HVI on Illegal Drug Personalities; Special Unit Award in the Campaign Against Illegal Drugs; Special Unit Award in the Campaign Against Illegal Gambling; and Special Unit Award in the Campaign Against Loose Firearms.

Governor Espino also extolled the police officers who received individual awards and recognitions: P/Col. Rederico Maranan (Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration), P/ Lt. Col. Vicente P. Castor Jr. (Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration), P/ Executive Master Sergeant Eduardo Dispo (Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration), P/ Master Sergeant Bembo G. Soriano (Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Operation), P/Major Exzur B. Relatado (Special Unit Award for Police Commissioned Officer), and P/ Staff Sergeant Carlos Ian M. Furugganan (Special Unit Award for Police Non-Commissioned Officer).

Meanwhile, the Dagupan City Police Station received the Best City Police Station award while Villasis Municipal Police Station earned the Best Municipal Police Station award.

Maranan expressed his appreciation to the support of the provincial government of Pangasinan that contributed to the realization of the vision and mission of the Pangasinan PNP to better serve Pangasinenses.
