Five ‘most wanted’ persons arrested
SIX most wanted persons in Pangasinan and Baguio City were arrested in their respective homes during the current General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
According to the Police Regional Office 1 (PRO 1), among those arrested was Dennis Murao, 33, a resident of Barangay Bila in Sison town, the No. 13 ‘most wanted’ in Pangasinan.
Joint elements of the Sison Police, Provincial Intelligence Division, Regional Investigation Division, Regional Intelligence Division, and Provincial Investigation Branch served warrants of arrest at his home on May 25 for Violation of Presidential Decree No. 553 (anti-cattle rustling law) by regional trial court in Urdaneta City.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Sison Police Station.
Also arrested on May 25 were the 2nd ‘most wanted persons in their respective municipalities: Rodolfo Laguerta, alias “Oding” and “Roding”, 80, a widower, of Barangay Baloling, Mapandan; and Rodel de Guzman, 24, of Baug, Urbiztondo. Both were charged for the crime of rape.
Also arrested on May 26 I was Pronio Castillo, 55, of Barangay Aliao, Dasol, tagged as No. 10 most wanted person in his town, by virtue of a warrant of arrest for Violation of PD 705 (Illegal Logging) issued by the regional trial court in in Burgos. (Leonardo Micua)
