Five arrested in separate drug-buy busts
TWO suspected drug pushers were arrested by the police in Barangay Anonas in Urdaneta City on May 26 in a buy-bust operation.
Arrested were Edwin Serafica, 47, a businessman of Urdaneta, and Wilson Flores, 46, a charcoal vendor from Sta. Maria town.
Seized from them were two heat-sealed plastic sachets of shabu and the buy-bust money of P500 paid to them by the undercover agent.
Meanwhile, three more drug suspects were arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Barangbay Pangapisan in Lingayen on May 27.
The suspects were identified as JR Evangelista, 35, a fish vendor, his brother Ramon Evangelista, 31; and Mario Solomon, 47, a jeepney conductor.
Jr Evangelista was charged for selling one sachet of shabu to a police agent while his brother Ramon and Solomon were arrested for possession of illegal drugs. (Leonardo Micua)
