LINGAYEN – A clean-up drive and tree-planting activity by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC) were  held inside the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Barangay Quibaol on July 12.

Barangay volunteers cleaned and planted mahogany seedlings around the area led by MPDC head, Engineer Bernard Tomelden and MENRO officer-in-charge Grace Satuito.

Mayor Leopoldo N. Bataoil said he plans to convert the facility into an eco-tourism park. (Melody Valenton)
