Lawyer gunned down in front of Dagupan Justice Hall
A lawyer was gunned down Friday morning in front of the Justice Hall building in Barangay Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan City after attending a court hearing.
Report from P/Lt. Colonel Jandale Sulit, police chief of Dagupan City, identified the victim as Val Crisostomo, legal counsel of Peryahan ng Bayan and a resident of Manaoag.
Initial police investigation showed the victim was standing in front of the Justice Hall building after attending a court hearing when a lone suspect wearing a black jacket and blue helmet approached and shot him.
The suspect fled along with a male companion riding a motorcycle towards east direction in Barangay Bonuan Binloc this city.
Crisostomo was rushed to Region 1 Medical Center but was pronounced dead on arrival. (PhilStar Wire Service)
