Dagupan, GMA ink partnership for 2019 Bangus Festival

THE city government signed a memorandum of agreement with GMA Regional TV, officially making the latter the city’s strategic partner for the 2019 Bangus Festival.
Those who signed the partnership agreement at the City Museum on March 22 were Mayor Belen T. Fernandez, City Administrator Atty. Farah Decano, Vice President and Head of Regional TV Oliver Amoroso, GMA TV10 North Central Luzon Station Manager Jonathan Balingit, CSI Warehouse Club Inc. Manager Ricardo Salvador AND and GMA Bet ng Bayan Grand Winner Hannah Precillas.
The MOA sealed the city and the network’s strategic partnership to again make Dagupan the center of excitement in this year’s Bangus Festival.

“GMA Network has been our partner for 11 years now, and this partnership has helped promote Dagupan and Bangus Festival not just in our country, but all over the world,” said Mayor Fernandez.
Fernandez said various events and activities are lined up for the grand month-long festivities which has for its theme “Happiest Fish Fest Ever!” like the Gilon Gilon ed Baley, Bangus Rodeo, Bangusine (Family Recipes with a Twist) and the Bangusan Street Party.
Other activities in year’s celebration are the Bangus Festival Trade Fair, Free Windsurfing Clinic and Windsurfing Cup, Jayceeken’s Tren na Dayew singing competition, DATBI Open Bowling Tournament, Kite Flying Competition, Grand Prix 2019, 69th Invitational Slalom Competition, Open Invitation Kickboxing Tournament and Open Boxing Championship.
GMA artists Julie Anne San Jose, Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, Kyline Alcantara, Gabbi Garcia, Rayver Cruz, Donita Nose, Mikee Quintos, Kaye Valdez, Migo Adecer, Cassie and Mavy Legazpi, Garret Bolden, Jong Madaliday and Golden Cañedo will be present in their Kapuso Concert with Studio 7 are expected to participate in other events.
