PRC rehabs 4th batch of drug personalities
LINGAYEN— The 21 reformed drug personalities from Binmaley town who surrendered completed the rehabilitation program at the Pangasinan Reformation Center (PRC).
The fourth batch of reformers were welcomed at the PRC on January 22 by OIC Center Administrator Eugenie Guiang, and PDRRMO chief Rhodyn Luchinvar Oro, leader of the center’s training team.
The PRC,
a multi-purpose facility built by the provincial government in Burgos town,
implements the Integrated Reformation Program of the administration of Gov.
Amado Espino, III.
During their four-day stay at the PRC that ended Friday, January 25, the
reformed surrenderers underwent a rigorous rehabilitation and reformation
program that included spiritual counselling, and trainings on entrepreneurial
and agribusiness activities.
“Our goal now (why you are gathered here) is to let you experience a renewal which will prepare you to get back to your families and to the society as a responsible citizen,” Dr. Eugenie Guiang, Dasol Community Hospital chief, told the reformers on their first day.
The PRC already accommodated reformed surrenderers from Burgos, Dasol, and Lingayen, and one youth group from Anda town.
The reformers are moderate drug users who have previously surrendered to police authorities. (PIO/MGNO)
