THREE foreigners were arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Dagupan Police while having a ”pot’ session inside their apartment in Barangay Malued, Dagupan City at about 11:30 p.m. on October 1.

The suspects were identified as Mohammed Abutaleb, a Saudi Arabian national; and Omar Abdulqudos Haij, and Emad Saleh Bawazir, both Yeminis.

Confiscated from them were six self-sealing transparent plastic sachets containing dried leaves of marijuana, two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing also of marijuana dried leaves, and one weighing scale.

Concerned citizens tipped the PDEA about the ongoing ‘pot’ session.

A case for violation of Section 11, Section 13 and Section 15 Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 is now being readied against the suspects. (Leonardo Micua)
