Are the Canadians that stupid, indeed?

YOU get the goat of President Duterte, you are doomed.

Said Mr. Duterte on the planned purchase of Canadian helicopters that has a Canada-designed rider deemed inimical to Philippine interest:

“The Canadians are very stupid!”

That was his reaction to Canada’s stipulation that the Bell choppers would only be sold to the Philippines “if they were not used” for combat operations against Filipinos.

But why Canada’s crazy condition?

You buy something and you are told what to do with what you’ve paid for, what kind of a deal is that?

The Bell helicopters aren’t being bought for a song as they cost a hefty sum of $233 million.

And Mr. Duterte said Canada even ordered the Philippines that it could not use the helicopters “against your own citizens.”

Who are they to tell us what to do with their choppers?

Maybe, if they were being given to us for free, we might yet heed their condition.

But no.  We plan to buy them for billions and billions of pesos!

Are they that stupid, indeed?

Said President Duterte: “My God, you Canadians, how stupid can you get? Our citizens are joining the IS, so we have every right to kill our citizens because we do not want to destroy the community with apathy.”

Does Canada understand every word that Mr. Duterte has said?

Here’s more from Prez Duterte: “And these idiots [Canadians] said, ‘you cannot use it against your citizens.’”

It’s blood-boiling, indeed, this supremacist tendency of First World countries like Canada.

Continued Mr. Duterte:  “Because you [Canada] are not encountering the same (IS) problem there, the Philippines was being treated like garbage.”

And didn’t Canada dump its garbage here some years back, not doing enough since to repair its massive mistake?

So that said stinking garbage still in Tarlac had yet to be recalled to Canada despite promises to that effect by its Premier Trudeau many moons ago, while on a visit here during a leaders’ summit?

Mr. Duterte continued: “The entire community of the world should know that there is a Republic of the Philippines which you cannot just fucking shit!”

Angry as can be, he really didn’t mince words.

“Do not do it to us,” Mr. Duterte told the Canadians, “because I will insult you.”

Hasn’t he done it already?

And his classic parting shot: “Anyway, who are you?”

When did we ever have a President who’s got balls?

Marcos had martial law for 14 years and our country turned from bad to worse.

Digong has guts to tell oil-power Kuwait to behave—and the whole world, too, not to mention Obama (who is he?)—and the Philippines is fast becoming to reclaiming a world-class stature of respect and dignity long lost under previous, mediocre and corrupt-laden administrations.

And President Duterte is barely two years in Malacanang.

You ain’t seen nuthin’ yet, kiddo.
