Capitol gets DOH fund support
HEALTH INVESTMENT PLAN
LINGAYEN–The provincial government will soon partner with the Department of Heath for the implementation of the Local Investment Plan for Health (LIPH) 2017-2019.
A resolution by Pangasinan provincial board led by Vice Governor Jose Ferdinand Z. Calimlim, Jr, authorized Gov. Amado Espino III to sign the terms of partnership between the province and DOH.
The LIPH 2017-2019 will carry out the objectives of the Philippine Health Agenda (PHA) to provide the best health benefits and services for the people.
The resolution, authored by Board Members Jeremy Agerico B. Rosario and Noel C. Bince, notes that the LIPH guarantees the implementation of programs, projects, activities in the province, together with its component LGUs, toward achieving a more responsive health system and equitable healthcare financing.
In implementing the program Pangasinan will receive financial support from DOH and other sectors for the implementation of its approved Annual Operational Plan for 2018.
This undertaking is also anchored on the objective to make Pangasinan “the home of the healthiest Filipinos.” (SMDG, PIO)
