DCNHS, Private Schools win
DCAA 2017 MEET
THE Dagupan City National High School (DCNHS) and Private Schools were declared overall winners in the secondary and elementary level, respectively, in the recently concluded 2017 Dagupan City Athletic Association (DCAA) Meet.
DCNHS amassed 36 gold, 30 silver, and 33 bronze medals to win in the secondary level while the Private Schools hauled a total of 36 gold, 18 silver, and 17 bronze medals to grab the championship in elementary level.
Other winners:
Elementary level – District 3 (2nd), District 2 (3rd), District 4 (4th) and District 1 (5th).
Secondary level -Bonuan Boquig National High School (2nd), East Central Integrated School (3rd), Lyceum Northwestern University (4th), and Saint Albert the Great School (5th)
Boys Basketball
Secondary: Merchant Marine Academy (champion), DCNHS (2nd) University of Luzon (3rd). Elementary: Saint John Cathedral School (champion), LNU (2nd), Bonuan Boquig Elementary School (3rd).
Girls Basketball
Secondary: Saint Albert the Great School (champion), Judge Jose De Venecia Memorial Technical High School (2nd), Saint John Cathedral School (3rd). Elementary: West Central Elementary School 1(champion), Pogo Lasip Elementary School (2nd), Lucao Elementary School (3rd).
Boys Volleyball
Secondary: Bonuan Boquig National High School (champion) University of Pangasinan (2nd), University of Luzon (3rd). Elementary: Gregorio Del Pilar Elementary School (champion), East Central Integrated School (2nd), Salapingao Elementary School (3rd).
Girls Volleyball
Secondary: DCNHS (champion), Bonuan Boquig National High School (2nd) Carael National High School (3rd). Elementary: Bonuan Boquig Elementary School (champion), Lucao Elementary School (2nd), West Central Elementary School 1 (3rd).
Hip-hop Dance
Secondary: La Marea (champion), Judge Jose De Venecia Memorial Technical High School (2nd), University of Pangasinan (3rd). DCNHS (best choreographer). Elementary: level, East Central Integrated School (champion), Malued Elementary School (2nd ), West Central Elementary School 1 (3rd) Salisay Elementary School (best choreographer).
The winners received trophies from Mayor Belen T. Fernandez, DCAA Commissioner Finnela T. Sim, Schools Division Superintendent Lorna G. Bugayong and DCAA President Renato Benitez during the closing program held at CSI Stadia on November 17. (CIO/JCB)
