4 houses razed in Dagupan blaze

FOUR houses went up in smoke in a fire that broke out mid-afternoon on Oct. 29, Saturday, at Sitio Interior on Perez Boulevard in Dagupan City.

The one-hour fire left five families homeless.

The burned houses were owned by Rodel Manaois, Michelle Calimlim, Joel Layage and Federico de la Rosa.

Mayor Belen Fernandez thanked the Panda Chinese Firefighting Brigade that sent two fire trucks, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), two fire trucks; and one fire truck each from City Supermarket Inc., Calasiao BFP, and Binmaley BFP.

The City government’s fire trucks were complemented by one fire truck from the City Risk Reduction and Management Council’s Belen 911and one tanker.

Fernandez said the city government will acquire another fire truck for the city’s CDRRMC. (Leonardo Micua)
