Dead were SPO3 Marlon Nicolas from Ilocos Norte and PO3 Jenny Agbayani, from Ilocos Sur, both males, assigned in Agno Police Station.

P/Chief Inspector Arvin Jacob, town police chief here said the slain policemen were also reportedly involved in gun-for-hire activities.

Police operatives seized from them 20 grams of shabu, half kilo of dried marijuana leaves and P3,000 marked money.

The rear portion of the town patrol vehicle was damaged during the exchange of gunshots, Jacob said.
