Geslani, Domantay proclaimed in Malasiqui
MALASIQUI—The incumbent mayor and vice mayor tandem here who switched positions along with newly elected councilmen were proclaimed on May 10.
Newly elected mayor Noel Geslani, incumbent vice mayor garnered 23, 130 votes against 16, 5023 votes of retired judge Renato Pinlac and 16, 266 votes of Jebong De Guzman.
Incumbent Mayor Armando Domantay Sr., newly elected vice mayor got 28,262 votes against 23,493 votes of Fe Soriano and 2, 428 of Domingo Padilla.
Geslani and Domantay are both Nationalist Peoples Coalition (NPC) bets.
The proclamation was done with 118 of 119 election returns counted from 58,933 of 70,990 registered voters who exercised their right of suffrage.
The new councilors of the town are Crispin Capua (AKSYON) with 26,715 votes, Ed Veloria (AKSYON) with 26,055 votes, Tony Espinoza (AKSYON) with 24,933 votes, Rolin Sanchez (AKSYON) with 24,251 votes, Larry Laforteza (AKSYON) with 23,881 votes, Erik Brian Domantay (NPC) with 23,439, Ronorick Ballesteros (AKSYON) with 23,295 votes and Rodito Austria (NPC) with 23,193 votes were also proclaimed on the same day.
