THE Balon Dagupan swimming team finished on top in the R1AA and has qualified for the 2016 Palarong Pambansa on April 10 to 16 in Legazpi City, Albay after winning 18 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze medals.

Among those who qualified were Sean Iverson Fabiana, Mark Bryan Rioflorido, Jessie Cacapit, Kristianna Padilla and Janelle Lin in the elementary division.

Paul Andrew Rioflorido, King Lester Dela Cruz, Jeremy Carlo Jizmundo, Anton Villaflor, Mari Alexie Adriano, Sophia De Vera and Rianna Isabelle Casipit in the secondary division.

Meanwhile, Dagupan City’s medal tally as of press time includes 18 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze medals in swimming; 2 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals in arnis; one gold, one silver and 2 bronze medals in gymnastics; one silver and one bronze medals in athletics; one silver each in badminton and chess.
