RETAIL stores in the province can look forward to developing new markets and clientele soon as the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) completes and its uploads online platform aimed at providing micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to market their stuffs locally and internationally.

Alexander Apostol, science research specialist of DOST-Pangasinan, said the stores can upload their retail products in the OneStore system (www.onestore.ph).

“OneStore is a web portal like Zalora and OLX where a client can view quality products, place his orders online and be delivered straight to his doorstep,” he said during the Pantongtongan Tayo radio program of PIA-Pangasinan on Tuesday.

He said the DOST in the Ilocos is now benchmarking in the different Provincial Science and Technology Centers in the region in order to possibly identify at least 300 products from Region I to be uploaded on the OneStore system.

Apostol said the DOST is now looking for a consolidator in the region that clients can contact to facilitate the delivery and distribution of the ordered products. (PIA-1, Pangasinan)
