MDCC bikefest on January 24
A GATHERING of the province’s veteran and executive cyclists will set the stage for the province’s first bicycle race on January 24 at Judge Jose R. de Venecia Sr. Expressway Extension in Dagupan City.
According to Engr. Rodolfo “Boy” Dion of the Metro Dagupan Cycling Club, the bikefest dubbed as “First EBD-LOL I.T.T.” will be a short 8.5 kilometers race-against-the-clock and will start and finish at Dawel junction. It will be held exclusively for MDCC’s more than 100 member-riders.
“This is an open event and a short fun race for our club members to showcase their skills in time trial, a regular event in cycling,” said Dion. “Trophies and medals are at stake,” he added. (JAG, Jr.)
