Drug pushers, wanted suspects nabbed

LINGAYEN- Some crime suspects wanted by the police did not have time to pack and hide after their New Year’s revelry.
The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) did not let up in their campaign to nab the wanted persons where they can.
Two suspects were arrested by the police for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Anti-Illegal Drugs Act of 2002 while three other wanted persons were arrested when the police served them their respective warrants of arrest.
Arrested in a buy-bust operation in Poblacion West, Sual at 6:00 p.m. of Jan. 1 by personnel of the Sual Police Station was Wilson Higashi, 52, a jitney driver, of Barangay Longos, San Fabian, tagged as pusher of illegal drugs.
Seized from him were two pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu which he tried to sell to an undercover policeman, including the buy-bust money of P1,000.
Meanwhile, one Rudy Ungria, 31, of Cayanga, San Fabian, too, was arrested by the Sual police at 7:00 p.m. of January 1 in Poblacion, Sual in another buy-bust when he sold two pieces of transparent plastic sachet containing shabu to a police agent.
Ungria was previously arrested by the Dagupan police for the same offense in 2004.
Zaldy De Guzman, 41, was nabbed when he was served a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Lilynde Vera-Vallo, municipal trial court judge of Bayambang, for reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property docketed under Criminal Case No. 5717.
Dexter Tupaz, 25, was served an Alias Warrant of Arrest for serious physical injuries issued by Municipal Trial Court Judge Edna Lou Ibe Pulmano of Infanta.
Marlon Bagua, 35, of Balococ, San Carlos City was also served an Alias Warrant of Arrest for violation of Republic Act No. 6339 or the Anti-Carnapping Act of 1972 issued by Judge Rowena Juan Guenagoran of the Regional Trial Court in Pasig City.
Bagua was identified as the number 29 in Pasig’s wanted list. (Leonardo Micua)
